Job summary

The Fall Line, a premier private destination golf and sporting club in Southwest Georgia, seeks a Director of Purchasing and Receiving to lead purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and vendor management for the club’s operations.

You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, manage internal controls, and ensure timely delivery of goods across departments to sustain quality and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Five or more years of progressive purchasing, procurement, or related operations experience.
• Experience leading or supervising teams in hospitality or club operations is highly desirable.
• Strong negotiation, vendor-management, and supplier-relations capabilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and purchasing/inventory/financial software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing and procurement activities across club departments, ensuring quality, cost control, and policy compliance.
• Oversee receiving and inventory control, matching deliveries to orders and maintaining accurate records.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for purchasing, receiving, inventory, and vendor management.
• Monitor market conditions, forecast needs, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Finance to support budgeting, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide leadership and coaching to staff across purchasing and receiving functions.
