Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience with cost reduction, supplier management, and negotiations.
• Familiarity with AIAG Project Management processes or structured project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing projects focused on cost reduction, supplier performance, and improvements.
• Analyze spend, data, and supplier risks to identify savings opportunities.
• Develop project plans with milestones and assign responsibilities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement approved projects.
• Support negotiations and supplier issues with the Commodity Managers.
• Present status and savings to Purchasing and Operations leadership.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and communicated to stakeholders.
