Job summary

Interface, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead all purchasing activities, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships in a manufacturing setting.

The role focuses on cost reduction, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production and delivery goals. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in purchasing within manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP experience (Infor CSI/SyteLine preferred), and proven leadership capabilities to guide a procurement team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of purchasing/procurement in manufacturing.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• ERP/MRP systems experience (Infor CSI/SyteLine preferred).
• Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing activities for raw materials, machined components, electronics, outside processing, production supplies, and indirect materials.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support growth, inventory goals, and operational efficiency.
• Manage supplier selection, qualification, performance measurement, and ongoing supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead times, payment terms, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and value.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
