Jamco America Inc in Everett, WA seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead all purchasing and procurement activities, drive supplier relationships, and implement cost-reduction initiatives to ensure on-time delivery in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, QA, and QC.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and a minimum of six years in procurement, with strong leadership, negotiation, and ERP experience (Epicor). Some travel may be necessary.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of six years of procurement or purchasing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop procurement staff by directing work activities, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to reduce costs and improve capacity.
• Develop and execute supplier negotiation strategies for favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Monitor market conditions and forecast pricing trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Assess, manage, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Identify and maintain strategic supplier partnerships.
• Review supplier quotations and negotiate contracts within budget guidelines.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Oversee purchasing to ensure material availability and support program schedules.
• Resolve supplier quality issues in collaboration with QA/QC and suppliers.
• Support expedited material requirements to meet operations.
