Job summary

Integra LifeSciences is seeking a Procurement Purchasing Manager in New Jersey to lead the purchasing operations team, drive standardization, and ensure compliance across processes. You will manage associate managers and specialists, oversee DOA negotiations, and establish dashboards to monitor cycle time and backlog.

As a senior leader, you will balance speed, cost, and compliance while maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

7–10 years in purchasing and supply chain operations with people leadership experience.
Strong operational negotiation acumen (volume breaks, expedited orders, credits/returns, dispute settlements).
Experience with ERP procurement workflows; Oracle preferred.
Expertise with internal controls and analytics tools (Excel/BI).
Proven track record in process standardization and continuous improvement.
Effective communicator capable of cross-functional alignment and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and manage Associate Managers, Senior Specialists, and Specialists; provide clear expectations and feedback.
Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and skills development.
Manage capacity planning and peak-load strategies to meet service commitments.
Establish daily/weekly operating rhythms for transparency and timely decisions.
Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
Own purchasing dashboards and KPIs; track cycle time, accuracy, backlog, and compliance.
Review performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
Balance speed, cost, and compliance; maintain audit trails and documentation.
Communicate results, risks, and resource needs to leadership; present recovery plans with milestones.
Approve or lead negotiations within DOA and standard terms (volume breaks, expedites, credits, disputes).
Ensure outcomes are recorded in ERP/contract repositories and refreshed quarterly.
Ensure ERP accuracy, purchasing controls, and segregation of duties; conduct controls testing.
Maintain SOPs and documentation to support audits.
Govern data quality for purchasing master data to reduce rework and cycle time.
Partner with Finance/AP/IT/Operations to improve end-to-end workflows.
Govern catalog strategy and alignment with demand forecasts and quality requirements.
