Job summary

Apex Sign Group is seeking a Purchasing Manager in San Antonio, TX for a full-time day shift. You will source equipment, raw materials, and services, manage inventory, and build strong supplier relationships to drive cost efficiency.

You will lead strategic procurement across categories, negotiate favorable terms, and develop production plans to ensure on-time delivery to customers while reducing expenses.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Manage internal and external inventories.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
• Procure parts and materials at negotiated rate.
• Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
• Oversee all purchasing throughout the company.
