Job summary

Composites One is seeking a Purcha sing Specialist to support the Consolidated Purchasing Team. You will handle purchasing transactions, entry, and cross-functional communication with vendors, sales, and internal colleagues to ensure accurate and timely procurement.

You will process POs, coordinate with stock-out vendors, and monitor inventory trends while analyzing metrics like GMROI and fill rate to inform strategy. A strong eye for detail and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing/inventory management experience in sales or distribution.
• Understanding of supply chain processes related to inventory and procurement.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with transportation, logistics, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and verify specifications from internal teams.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain product details and resolve order issues.
• Respond to inquiries on specs, pricing, and lead times from Sales and CS teams.
• Monitor inventory trends and analyze metrics to support strategy.
• Maintain purchasing relationships for assigned vendors and support AP/warehousing.
