Performance Foodservice seeks a seasoned Purchasing Manager to manage customer relations, purchasing, and financial control for assigned product categories. You will coordinate buying, selling, and merchandising with vendors to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, negotiating terms, and ensuring accurate costing and timely invoicing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years in foodservice distribution and purchasing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or Marketing.
• 7-10 years in purchasing management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customers' needs.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and supplier relationships for profitability.
• Coordinate buying, selling, and merchandising efforts with vendors.
• Interface with customers, management, and Purchasing personnel.
• Ensure costing, pricing accuracy, and timely invoicing with AP.
