Job summary

Ken’s Foods Inc is seeking an Administrative Assistant level Purchasing Coordinator to support the Buyers and Operations team in securing goods and services while managing supplier relationships. The role also assists in inventory management, reverse logistics, and daily fulfillment to meet plant requirements.

The starting rate is $23.00/hour. As a valued member of our Procurement group, you will work cross-functionally to keep data accurate, assist with price changes, and track orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year Procurement or Supply Chain Management experience.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supports fulfillment of daily Plant requirements by running/reviewing reports (PO Confirmation, Exceptions, PO Late Delivery).
• Confirms critical Purchase Orders within 24 hours, escalating as needed.
• Coordinates/follow-ups on Collect/Backhaul loads with Logistics Department.
