Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in residential construction or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; KOVA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain trade partner relationships and forecast trade placement.
• Work with production to ensure trades respond promptly and builders follow procedures.
• Communicate product changes to sales, construction, and subcontractors; adjust pricing as needed.
• Analyze costs and back up changes; renegotiate contracts when pricing expires or increases are requested.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy; bid new plans and options; enter bids in KOVA.
• Prepare proformas to compare costs for new communities and resolve cost issues.
• Attend division rollout meetings and field purchasing-related questions.
