Job summary

Electro Freeze/H.C. Duke LLC, a Welbilt Company, is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support manufacturing operations in East Moline, IL. You will create and manage purchase orders, review SAP recommendations, and align material availability with production needs.

You'll collaborate with production planning, engineering, and inventory teams, monitor supplier performance, communicate shortages, and participate in cost-control initiatives to optimize procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/associate degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• Experience in procurement, inventory or logistics preferred.
• ERP/systems experience (SAP) and Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Review SAP-generated purchasing recommendations and create purchase orders.
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Communicate shortages, delays and material concerns to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain purchasing records in SAP including lead-time, pricing and supplier data.
• Collaborate with production, planning, engineering and inventory teams.
