Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and/or directs a component of an agency or program to accomplish its mission.
• Interprets and advises on departmental rules, regulations and laws.
• Prepares administrative, statistical and fiscal documents.
• Supervises or directs staff in planning and implementing programs.
• Advises on resource requirements and timelines; develops policies and regulations.
• Plans and conducts training, meetings, or clinics; represents the agency at events.
• Drafts policies and procedures and develops contracts or grants.
• Reviews proposed legislation and may act as legislative liaison.
