Job summary

Goldbelt C6 is seeking a Program Analyst II to provide program management and analysis support for the Office of the Director. The role involves coordinating resources, reviewing budgets, and engaging with CDC offices and external partners to ensure mission success.

You will monitor day-to-day operations, support contracts and grants tasks, and contribute to documentation and reports. A Master’s degree is preferred, and the candidate must be able to obtain CDC clearance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and allocate program resources; review and evaluate service delivery; recommend and execute operational changes; work with CDC systems (ICE, IRIS, UTAM, CONCUR).
• Perform strategic planning and financial analysis, including specialized budgets, technical reviews, carryover requests, and contract modifications.
• Confer with and represent the program and division in meetings with CDC offices, grantees, and external partners.
• Monitor day-to-day program operations for policy/procedure adherence and goal achievement; take corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate contracts and grants management tasks, including de-obligations and IAAs.
• Perform administrative duties requiring oversight and analysis, including project budget preparation.
• Maintain records for evaluation, control, and documentation of activities; prepare correspondence and reports.
• Coordinate pre/post award documentation processing for DHQP contracts, including SOWs, acquisition plans, clearance documents, government cost estimates, and purchase requests.
• Track and manage DHQP funding, working with Public Health Advisors on resource planning; create and track spend plans.
• Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.
