Job summary

AMSG seeks a Creative Services Specialist to provide Public Affairs support for the VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) in an on-site role in Frederick, MD. The position covers planning, content development, multimedia production and coordination across PAO and contract staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in federal public affairs or related creative fields, with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years in public affairs within federal government or defense.
• Experience in copywriting, editorial development, graphic design, photography, video production, and project management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and manage PAO initiatives with leadership guidance.
• Track projects with roadmaps, schedules and workload trackers.
• Coordinate tasks, milestones and deliverables across teams.
• Maintain dashboards, Kanban boards and workload visualizations.
• Develop communication products for PAO and organizational goals.
• Capture and edit photography and video content for communications.
• Design print and digital graphics and coordinate print production.
• Support coordination between PAO leadership and contract personnel.
