Job summary

D2L is seeking a Proposal Writer to craft compelling sales collateral, manage multiple documents under tight deadlines, and support the proposal team’s operational improvements. You will collaborate with experts to ensure accurate, persuasive content that reflects D2L’s product and service offerings.

The role emphasizes writing excellence, storytelling, and efficient process management in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a fast-paced, high-volume writing environment.
• Experience in high-tech industry is preferred.
• Experience writing persuasive documents an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools and emerging best practices to support proposal writing, content development, operational efficiency, and high-quality deliverables.
• Experience with proposal automation software considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Write and manage custom sales collateral for prospective and existing clients.
• Support daily operations of the proposal team, implementing efficiencies and resources.
• Assist Proposal Managers on RFP responses and content development.
• Enforce approved style guidelines and ensure consistent look and feel of documents.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create sales documents with a technical understanding of D2L offerings.
• Develop and improve team templates and content libraries; provide content guidance.
