Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Accounting team in Massachusetts. You will prepare property tax declarations, process bill backs to dealers, agents and tenants, and perform general ledger reconciliations for related accounts.

You will review site summaries for changes impacting property tax accounting, assist with site acquisitions, and coordinate with internal departments and external authorities to resolve tax issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in property tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of property tax software (OneSource) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review property tax compliance declarations.
• Prepare bill backs of property taxes to dealers, agents, and tenants and reconcile related trial balances.
• Review site summaries for changes that impact property tax accounting.
• Assist with integration of property tax accounting for new sites and acquisitions.
• Track and process property tax bills for payments.
• Assist with property tax audits and respond to information requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.
