Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Strategic Projects Portfolio Project Coordinator to lead oversight of distribution projects and budgets within the strategic project portfolio. The role supports project managers across Georgia, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and traveling as needed for meetings and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree and at least four years of distribution or project management experience, with strong communication and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree, BS in Science/Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of Distribution, Transmission or project management experience.
• Experience presenting projects at DPRT, TPRT and T&D committees is preferred.
• Experience managing capital and O&M budgets is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee distribution projects and budget lines within the strategic project portfolio.
• Assist Project Managers with project development, execution and budget management.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders inside and outside the distribution organization.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and manage cost/schedule/impact.
• Support deconflicting processes across SPP and the distribution capital portfolio.
