Job summary

Venture Up is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead in San Francisco to own complex, revenue-generating projects with frontier AI labs from initial scoping through successful delivery. You will partner with leading AI teams, manage client relationships and coordinate cross-functional experts to drive growth.

The role requires 2–5 years in a fast-paced environment, exceptional communication, and a strong delivery mindset.

Qualifications

Strategic Projects Lead: Work Directly with Frontier AI Labs | $220K–$300K+ OTE

Do you want to work directly with the teams building the world's most advanced AI models? Do you want genuine ownership of high-impact projects rather than spending years working on one narrow piece of strategy or operations?

A well-funded AI startup in San Francisco is building the data and evaluation infrastructure used by leading AI labs to develop increasingly capable models and agents. Growing rapidly, they've assembled an exceptional team from companies including Google, Meta, Jane Street and Citadel Securities.

They're looking for a Strategic Projects Lead to own complex, revenue-generating projects with frontier AI labs from initial scoping through to successful delivery.

What You'll Do:

• Work with Frontier AI Labs – Partner directly with leading AI companies on projects helping develop and evaluate increasingly capable models.
• Own Projects End-to-End – Take responsibility from initial customer conversations and project scoping through execution, delivery and expansion.
• Solve Complex Problems – Work across AI, operations and commercial strategy, figuring out how to deliver ambitious projects where there often isn't an existing playbook.
• Lead Customers & Teams – Manage sophisticated client relationships while coordinating internal teams and domain experts to deliver exceptional outcomes.
