Morpheus Talent Solutions is partnering with a fast-growing AI startup to recruit a high-ownership operator for SF Bay Area. The role is based in San Francisco/San Mateo, onsite or hybrid, with relocation considered and a base salary of $150k-$220k plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with strong quantitative exposure
• Proven track record of high performance in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Strong analytical and structuring skills; able to build models, decks and frameworks from scratch
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage with senior stakeholders
• High energy, ownership, and comfort operating with ambiguity
• Genuine interest in AI and proximity to technology shaping the industry
• Based in or willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area

While the leading labs build their core models in-house, much of what makes those models reliable in the real world, such as data generation, human evaluation and reinforcement learning, is increasingly handled by specialist partners. Backed by a global network of vetted experts, the business supports complex AI workflows including agentic evaluations, multimodal data labeling, RL environments and code-based tasks. Having started out serving frontier labs, it has expanded into enterprise-grade tools for deploying, monitoring and improving AI systems in live environments, and counts leading AI labs and major enterprise brands among its clients as it pushes further into Fortune 500 accounts.

The Opportunity

This is a high-ownership role driving the company's highest-priority, highest-ambiguity initiatives. You'll pick up hard, undefined problems, structure them and drive them to outcomes, whether that's launching a new line of business, fixing a broken process or standing up a function from scratch. You'll work directly with the founders and leadership on the company's biggest bets, moving fluidly between strategy, operations and execution.

For someone early in their career, it's a rare front-row seat to how leading AI labs and enterprises get models production-ready, at a company still early enough for one person to meaningfully shape how it scales.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• 2 to 4 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting or another role with strong quantitative exposure
• A track record of high performance in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Sharp analytical and structuring skills, with confidence building models, decks and frameworks from scratch
• Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to hold your own with senior stakeholders
• High energy, high ownership and comfort operating with ambiguity
• A genuine interest in AI and a desire to be close to the technology shaping the industry
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the SF Bay Area
