Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. is seeking a Project Procurement Manager (PPM) to join our center-led Procurement Team. You will apply best practices in supply management and drive profitability across complex procurement assignments, including leading a team on larger projects.

The role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in office, requiring strong leadership, policy development, and supplier coordination to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years related experience.
• 5+ years’ experience managing procurement projects.
• Domestic travel 31–50%.
• Valid driver’s license; strong communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, expediting, logistics, inspection, receiving, asset and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Procurement lead contact for internal Project and Operations customers.
• Define and document project procurement policy, strategy and objectives.
• Establish and maintain procedures for data and process control in supply management for the project.
• Train and mentor procurement teammates.
• Coordinate with suppliers on production progress, shipments, and delivery.
• Expedite actions and maintain delivery schedules.
• Evaluate production and shipping progress against requirements.
• Report procurement progress to project stakeholders.
• Lead procurement meetings to review schedules and risks.
• Create procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Engage senior teams to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Lead by example with safety and quality orientation.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
