Job summary

FedEx Freight seeks a strategic planning leader to oversee the vision, direction, and administration of the strategic planning program and the Quality Driven Management (QDM) initiative. You will develop, measure and communicate strategy, and coordinate the OpCo strategic process and performance systems.

You will lead analyses of operational performance, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across corporate groups to align ESQI and SQI with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in quantitative field (Business/CS/Math/Statistics).
• Five years’ direct experience in quantitative/analytic business, project management, transportation operations, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, measure, and communicate strategy; manage QDM program and KPI systems.
• Lead annual strategy assessments and performance measurement reviews.
• Coordinate reporting on strategic objectives and ensure alignment with performance metrics.
• Collaborate with corporate groups to align SQI with ESQI and research.
• Provide statistical analysis to identify process improvements and support strategic projects.
• Advise teams to drive QDM adoption and improve customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
