Job description

About Trajan Wealth

At Trajan Wealth, we're redefining what comprehensive financial planning looks like.

Founded on the belief that financial advice should be accessible, transparent, and deeply personal, Trajan has grown into a nationally recognized wealth management, tax, and estate planning organization serving individuals, families, and business owners across the country.

Our integrated approach brings together financial advisors, CPAs, and estate attorneys under one roof to deliver comprehensive planning solutions that help clients achieve their financial goals with confidence. By combining these disciplines, we provide a level of coordination and strategic guidance that is difficult to find in traditional financial services firms.

We're in an exciting phase of growth. As we continue to expand our geographic footprint, launch new business initiatives, and enhance both the client and employee experience, we are investing in the people, processes, and infrastructure that will support our long‑term vision.

At Trajan, employees have the opportunity to make a visible impact, collaborate across multiple business lines, and work directly with leaders who value innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. We move quickly, encourage new ideas, and empower team members to challenge the status quo in pursuit of better outcomes for our clients and our organization.

If you're energized by growth, excited by the opportunity to drive meaningful change, and motivated to help build the future of a rapidly evolving organization, Trajan Wealth offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting difference.

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished, results-driven Strategic Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact initiatives across our growing organization. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams-driving strategic priorities from concept through completion with precision, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.

This is a newly created position and a unique opportunity for the right individual to make a lasting impact.

Rather than stepping into an established project management office with predefined processes and bureaucracy, you will have the opportunity to help build and shape project management capabilities across the organization from the ground up.

The ideal candidate brings a proven record of managing enterprise-scale, complex projects within a dynamic, fast-paced professional environment. You excel at navigating organizational complexity, influencing without direct authority, and translating strategic vision into measurable, lasting outcomes. Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable continuous improvement methodologies within professional services, financial services, healthcare, or technology environments is highly desirable.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise-wide projects from inception through implementation, ensuring sustained alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership in defining project scope, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to project goals.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement opportunities; design and implement solutions that enhance organizational efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, risk assessments, communication frameworks, and executive reporting mechanisms.
  • Facilitate high-impact meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions that build organizational alignment and accelerate informed decision‑making.
  • Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, proactively adjusting plans to ensure successful execution within defined parameters.
  • Anticipate and manage project risks, obstacles, and dependencies; develop and execute targeted mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes.
  • Measure and communicate project results through rigorous data analysis, key performance indicators, and executive-level reporting.
  • Champion organizational change management efforts related to system implementations, process improvements, and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Establish, promote, and continuously refine project management best practices and governance standards across the organization.
Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Proficiency in developing polished executive-level presentations, status reports, and performance dashboards.
  • Solid proficiency with project management tools, platforms, and methodologies.
Preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement initiatives within professional services, financial services, or other non-production environments.
