Job summary

Nextpower Inc. is expanding from a solar tracker company into an integrated energy technology platform, seeking a Project Lead for Operational Excellence & Transformation in Nashville.

The role focuses on driving Lean and Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and quality to improve execution and deliver measurable results. You will develop project charters, assess current state, run reviews, and coordinate with IT for automation, reporting, and platform adoption,

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years experience leading operational improvement projects.
• Hands-on Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, A3, PDCA, and process-mapping experience.
• Strong project management, facilitation, analytical and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop charters, current-state assessments, plans, milestones, owners, risks, and action logs for initiatives.
• Run working sessions and project reviews; escalate decisions or barriers to the Director.
• Maintain accurate status, issue, dependency, and benefit reporting for portfolio reviews.
• Map workflows, identify root causes, and implement simpler processes with owners.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and apply standard work, PDCA, and other improvement tools.
• Collaborate with IT to gather requirements and support rollout of enterprise systems and automation.
