Job summary

RnB Consultancy in San Francisco seeks 2 strategic project leads to turn mandates into running programs and manage data-to-dataset projects for frontier AI labs. You will recruit domain experts, plan reviewer capacity, monitor metrics, and drive adoption inside client organizations.

Full-time on-site in San Francisco with a fast-growing team; equity and commission potential on future sales.

Job description

You turn a vague mandate into a running program and stay calm when the plan changes on Friday. Own the projects that feed frontier AI.

A young, seed-funded San Francisco company embeds its people in engineering and life‑sciences enterprises to automate their workflows. It finds where today's models fall short and sells that data to frontier AI labs. It already runs at an eight‑figure revenue rate, grows very fast, and is going from six people to about fifteen this year.

They're hiring 2 strategic project leads.

What you'll own

• Programs that convert client data into datasets that AI labs buy, from scoping and data access to delivery
• Recruiting and onboarding domain experts, and planning reviewer capacity
• Acceptance rates, cost and quality, and adjusting the team based on the numbers
• Change management inside the client: approvals, adoption and keeping everyone informed
• Over time: owning lab accounts and selling, with commission on top

Must‑haves

• You've run complex projects from start to finish yourself (operations, consulting or technical delivery), not only a piece of a project someone else led
• Truly customer‑facing, coordinating people with very different expertise (a back‑office data‑ops role isn't enough)
• A strong track record: a respected organisation, a rigorous education or clear ownership of outcomes, with roles held long enough to show lasting impact
• At least 1 year of experience; calibre and ownership matter more than years
• Working from the San Francisco office, 9-9-6, and fine with plans that change week to week

Bonus points

• Operations at an AI or data company: expert networks, AI training or eval programs
• Consulting experience followed by hands‑on work in data or AI operations
• First steps toward account ownership or sales
