Job summary

The role influences NYO strategies, leads audits and drives value across complex multi-project portfolios, reporting to the Finance Advisor. Knowledge of IPSAS is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree preferred with additional governance/IPSAS exposure.
• Professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CIMA) desirable.
• Familiarity with IPSAS or international accounting standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial support for NYO and project offices.
• Lead project financial closure and verification of final reports.
• Oversee project fund management and budget approvals.
• Lead partner financial reporting, refinement, and capacity building.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for donors.
• Foster knowledge sharing and team management within the portfolio.
