Job summary

Emerson in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst/Project Accounting to partner with NA project operations and finance teams. You will support monthly close, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis, with a focus on NA projects and Oracle systems.

The role requires a strong background in accounting or finance, 5+ years, Excel proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a project-driven environment, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum five years' experience in Accounting or Finance.
Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to perform solid accounting and financial analysis.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Partner with NA project operations and its management to hit financial goals.
Review projects for cost application and revenue recognition; perform revenue recognition in Oracle.
Assist monthly close, balance reviews, and identify invoicing opportunities.
Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
Assist in annual budget prep for North American operations and cost center budgets.
Participate in special projects including Oracle changes and continuous improvement.
