Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Delivery Director to oversee a multi-discipline team delivering cost solutions for real estate clients. The role sits within Building Consultancy, focusing on surveying, inspections, and planning.

You will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities, manage procurement and cost modeling, and align strategies with client goals to drive project success and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered
• Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical facilities experience preferred
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance; retention-focused

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; oversee training, performance evaluations and coaching
• Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities; set schedules and cross-train staff
• Manage all aspects of commercial management including procurement, vendor management, and scheduling
• Assist with designing and maintaining project-specific cost models to manage expenditures and publish reports
• Align cost model with stakeholder and client goals; guide deliverables within project scope
• Establish a strategy to manage cash flow and project accruals
• Implement commercial management strategies aligned with project timelines
• Assess financial benefit and risk; develop and publish business cases to support recommendations
• Apply knowledge of multiple disciplines and business drivers impacting performance
• Identify and solve multi-dimensional problems using cross-functional resources
• Lead by example and negotiate with external partners to reach common goals
