Lorien in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Project Controls Specialist (BBBH2324468) to perform cost forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and report generation for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced to expert level of experience in Excel is required.
• Experience building/updating cost forecasts with a project team.
• Working knowledge of project management concepts, project controls, scheduling software and spreadsheets.
• Ability to analyze, integrate, trend, and forecast cost information for projects.
• Knowledge and usage of earned value techniques.
• Strong initiative with good communication; CAPM/PMP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate periodic project controls reports (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc).
• Perform Change Control and manage changes to scope and cost baselines.
• Conduct benchmarking and self-assessment initiatives for project controls.
• Maintain cost estimates, track and trend cash flow, and report project status.
• Create and maintain project cost estimates with Estimators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and drive improvements.
