Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Operations Analyst to support project managers and leaders with setup, forecasting, and cost management. You will contribute to financial analysis and performance reporting across markets and business units, helping drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in project controls, operations coordination, or PMO support within AEC or professional services.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
• Strong Excel skills, financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with PMI project management frameworks and lifecycle.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, EAC analysis, and project reviews.
• Monitor portfolio performance including margin variance, unbilled, and A/R, and collaborate with PMs to address issues.
• Provide financial and operational analysis to leadership for decision-making and performance improvement.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and preliminary project budgets for markets or business units.
• Assist with opportunity tracking, pricing models, and risk management activities.
• Serve as a day-to-day resource for PMs, guiding on company policies and project delivery tools.
• Develop job aids, tracking tools, and templates to simplify delivery workflows and PM compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure accurate project data in ERP and reporting systems.
