Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Operations Analyst to provide hands-on support to project managers and business leaders across day-to-day operational and project delivery activities. This role is a critical resource for PMs navigating project setup, forecasting, and cost management, while also supporting leadership with financial analysis and performance reporting.

You will help prepare budgets, monitor portfolio performance, and develop tools that streamline delivery workflows.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of PMO/controls experience in AEC or professional services
• Hands-on PMO work: project setup, cost management, forecasting
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; financial modelling & variance reporting
• Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint or Oracle ERP
• Knowledge of PMI project management frameworks
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams
• Detail-oriented with multi-priority management in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with project setup, cost tracking, forecasting, and EAC analysis
• Monitor portfolio performance: margin variance, unbilled, A/R
• Provide financial and operational analysis to leadership
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets
• Assist with opportunity tracking and risk management
• Serve as a day-to-day resource for PMs and policy guidance
• Develop job aids and templates to streamline delivery
• Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate project data in ERP
