Job summary

Ascential Technologies is seeking a Project Controller to drive financial discipline across multi‑discipline projects in a global tech environment. You will partner with Project Managers and the Group Controller to forecast rigor, analyze performance, and tighten cost accounting.

This hands‑on role requires strong business judgment and the confidence to push back constructively. The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years in project controlling or operational finance, ERP and advanced Excel skills, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in project controlling, cost accounting, or operational finance.
Strong analytical skills to challenge assumptions and explain financial impacts clearly.
Experience working with project or operations teams.
ERP and advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance against budget and forecast.
Develop and maintain forecasting templates and ensure consistent project reporting.
Analyze cost accounting related to labor rates, overhead, and absorption; monitor trends.
Serve as a financial partner to Project Managers and coordinate with the Group Controller for reporting.
