Job summary

Washington Area Community Investment Fund (WACIF) in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Program and Project Lead to strengthen the execution, accountability, and impact of advisory services and signature programs. This role provides cross-functional leadership and operational oversight within the Programs department.

The Senior Program and Project Lead will monitor program performance, ensure grant compliance, and partner with Program Directors, Finance, and other departments to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or master’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience with at least five years in program management.
• 5+ years of proven experience in project or program management, preferably nonprofit.
• Ability to lead complex projects and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management to drive accountability and results.
• Understanding of grant management and monitoring grant requirements.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to improve program efficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient with project management tools and adapting to new software.
