Job summary

By the Bay Health is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee enterprise-wide programs and strategic initiatives in a nonprofit healthcare setting. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll translate priorities into actionable plans and collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking and execution, navigating ambiguity, and building cross-functional relationships across clinical, administrative, and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Master’s degree preferred (MBA, MHA or similar).
• Minimum of seven years leading complex programs, enterprise initiatives, or strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise-wide programs and strategic initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Translate priorities into actionable project plans with milestones, deliverables, timelines and success metrics.
• Provide executive and Board support by coordinating workflows and materials for informed decisions.
• Identify gaps and drive cross-functional process improvements across clinical, administrative, financial, and operational teams.
• Build relationships across the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Board members, and internal stakeholders to move initiatives forward.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field

Master’s degree, MBA, MHA, or similar advanced degree
