Job summary

BlueRose Technologies is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to oversee large strategic initiatives with executive visibility. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, schedules, and risks, and ensure alignment with SUITE methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

This role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and delivering on sponsor goals over multi-year horizons with 50+ team members, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in matrix organizations.
• 5+ years resolving complex, high-priority conflicts and competing requirements.
• 5+ years of experience with data infrastructure concepts and data governance fundamentals.
• 5+ years of experience applying Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience with system development methodologies for building new systems and enhancing existing information systems.
• 5+ years of experience working with data communications and information systems hardware and software concepts and operating principles.
• 5+ years of experience communicating stakeholder needs clearly and effectively.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying problems, and developing actionable solutions.
• 5+ years of experience conducting training sessions and facilitating informational workshops.
• 5+ years of experience communicating across teams, building consensus, facilitating working sessions, and negotiating outcomes.
• 5+ years of experience managing stakeholder relationships, maintaining positive interactions, and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct engagement with stakeholders and vendors, dedicating approximately 15-20% of time to executive-level communication, including high-level project oversight, stakeholder alignment, and leading monthly sponsor meetings to provide project health updates.
• Establish and monitor project controlling methods to ensure timely knowledge and awareness of changes to project cost, quality or schedule.
• Provide planning, staffing, and reporting to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects according to the sponsor’s goals and objectives.
• Planning, staffing and reporting should adhere to the client’s SUITE Project Management Methodology and the Agency’s project prioritization process.
• Planning, staffing and reporting spans the entire lifecycle of the project from initiation to closeout.
• Directs and coordinates the day-to-day activities, tasks and deliverables required from the project team according to the project plan.
