Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Program Manager to coordinate work and administrative support for diverse programs, design and execute strategic elements, and foster leadership engagement with hospital leadership, clients, partners, and vendors.

The role emphasizes development of a network of internal stakeholders to achieve strategic goals, working independently and collaboratively to address requirements with vendors and drive data-driven solutions in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, clinical or related field or Master’s degree with HM Fellow.
• Three years of experience related to business or healthcare administration; HM employee with two years can be considered for progressive responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads program meetings, providing meaningful contributions that drive decision-making and clearly identifies next steps.
• Partners with key stakeholders to ensure department timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
• Facilitates communication with authority to individuals and groups to engage and inform, ensuring understanding of program goals.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement of department/program score for turnover, retention and engagement.
• Manages scope, schedule and budget of assigned programs; tracks progress and provides decision support to leadership.
