Job summary

Swift is seeking a Program Manager in Annapolis Junction, MD to oversee cost, schedule, and performance of a government contract. You will be the main liaison with the CO, COR, and Government PM, directing resources and reporting progress and risks.

Strong communication and leadership are essential to drive successful contract execution. Responsibilities include resource allocation, performance reviews, risk management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a program or project manager in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• At least 1 year of experience in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, scheduling and financial data monitoring.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources on the contract.
• Review and approve earned value and financial reports.
• Review and allocate management reserves within limits.
• Ensure cross-discipline integration to meet Government needs.
• Coordinate with the Government PM and contractor leadership.
• Review and propose the Integrated Program Baseline or resource-loaded schedule.
• Review risk and mitigation activities and allocate budgets.
• Prepare program status reviews for Government PM.
• Recruitment and training of program staff.
• Review reports before release to Government.
• Communicate issues and solutions to Government PM promptly.
• Ensure contract regulatory compliance with contracts staff.
