Job summary

Draper is seeking a Program Manager 2 to lead the Air Force and Missile Defense Strategic Systems programs, guiding complex projects from inception to completion. You will oversee cost, schedule and technical performance, and act as primary customer liaison.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in an engineering/CS/business field, 7 years of PM experience, and ability to travel up to 50%. A Top Secret clearance is required to work on national security programs.

Qualifications

• 7 years of professional PM experience in commercial or defense industries.
• Security clearance: Top Secret is required.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of medium to large programs, meeting cost, schedule and technical targets.
• Establish baselines for performance and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on supplier management and performance.
• Lead customer interactions and review sessions to confirm scope and requirements.
• Develop and maintain good customer partnerships and grow the business.
