Job summary

Qualifications

• 16 years of experience, may have management experience.
• 15 years of progressive experience within program/project management; military service in command leadership roles may count.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience serving in leadership roles on federal contracts over $400M.
• Proven experience directing multiple teams and departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to pass a VA Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program operations from development through execution under the Program Director.
• Assist executives in decision-making, program management, and performance measurement.
• Review and implement improvements to org structure and address knowledge gaps.
• Improve processes and coordinate procedures for efficiency and productivity.
• Liaise between staff, executives and subcontractors regarding climate, diversity and staff wellbeing.
• Assist HR with new hires, onboarding, and employee concerns.
• Oversee daily operations with senior management and plan annual meetings.
• Develop relationships with employees to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
• Participate in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.
