Job summary

Honeywell in Arvada, Colorado is seeking a Sr Program Controls Specialist to deliver cost analysis, process improvements, and performance tracking for mult-site programs. You will partner with cross-functional teams and manage baselines, EVs, and forecasts to optimize margins.

The role requires deep experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract controls, with a willingness to relocate to the Arvada area and work a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of project controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of Project Controls (cost management) experience.
• 5+ years in oil & gas, petrochemical, automation, or electronics industry.
• MS Office and SAP (Project System) experience.
• 5+ years in finance & cash flow – concepts, processes, planned, actual, forecast.
• 5+ years of cost estimating, tracking and control.
• 5+ years of contracts and business planning & analysis.
• 5+ years of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Arvada, Colorado area.

Responsibilities

• Define scopes and budgets on allocated projects and establish WBS.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and billing information.
• Support cost monitoring standards, systems, and reports.
• Assist with budget allocation and cost control for project portions.
• Support risk & trend management programs.
• Ensure cost management and contract compliance per standards.
• Develop program plans and establish baseline budgets; apply earned value methods.
• Analyze project costs and performance status.
• Provide cost assessment and proactive guidance for project completion.
• Contribute to development of cost controls tools and methodologies.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
