Job summary

Honeywell Technologies, a global pure-play automation company, seeks a Cost Accounting Manager to lead the cost accounting function within the Process Technologies division at the Arvada, CO site. You will oversee cost data analysis, drive cost control, and provide strategic financial insights to optimize performance.

You will report to finance leadership and collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate reporting and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in cost accounting or related financial roles.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, cost control methodologies, and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems relevant to cost accounting functions.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a manufacturing or process technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the cost accounting team to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting and analysis.
• Develop and implement cost accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze cost variances and trends to provide actionable insights and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and supply chain to optimize cost management and improve financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to cost accounting.
