Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a detail‑oriented planner with a strong background in industrial engineering and production scheduling in Fort Worth, TX. You will drive long‑range schedules, collaborate across program offices, and maintain SAP data accuracy to support operations.

You will analyze data, track performance metrics, and apply lean practices to optimize manufacturing efficiency while coordinating with production operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Shop floor production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating and maintaining production build schedules.
• Strong data analysis skills, including working with data tables.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling – Create and maintain detailed long-range production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Program Support – Collaborate with the Program Office to fulfill ad-hoc scheduling and planning requests.
• Schedule Simulations & Recovery Plans – Develop schedule scenarios and recovery plans to answer high-level “what-if” factory-wide questions.
• ERP System Maintenance – Maintain and update SAP to ensure accurate data for production scheduling.
• Factory Capacity Planning – Analyze factory capacity and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency or assess increasing factory rates.
• Data Analysis & Performance Metrics – Use data analytics and performance tracking to drive improvements in manufacturing operations.
