Job summary

Hitachi Energy Korea is seeking an experienced Production Planner for a 16-month fixed-term position to backfill an employee on parental leave.

You will analyze production specifications, develop and maintain schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and manage MRP to align with the master plan. A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of production planning experience are required, with ERP/MRP proficiency on-site in Cheonan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in ERP systems, MRP, and production planning tools.
Strong ability to analyze data, lead times, and capacity constraints to develop schedules.

Responsibilities

Analyze production specifications, plant capacity and lead times to determine processes.
Develop and maintain a detailed production schedule based on inventory and capacity.
Coordinate with SCM to schedule material deliveries and organize shipments.
Release manufacturing work orders and carry out daily MRP.
Determine operation sequences and lead times for fabrication and assembly.
Monitor progress and take corrective actions to meet deadlines.
Contribute to Master Planning and Material Planning improvements and root cause analysis.
Provide capacity and material availability updates to the Master Scheduler and production teams.
Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
