Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) is seeking a Production Scheduler & Plant Buyer in Michigan City, Indiana. You will coordinate daily and weekly production schedules and procure materials to support manufacturing operations, aligning demand, supplier deliveries, and capacity to meet on-time ship commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 3–7 years in manufacturing purchasing, materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing setting, preferably automotive or high-volume environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate priorities with operations leadership to optimize labor, equipment, and materials.
• Adjust schedules to address shortages, downtime, or changing requirements; communicate updates across the organization.
• Purchase raw materials, components, and packaging while managing supplier performance and timely deliveries.
• Maintain inventory levels to support production and minimize excess/inactive stock.
• Identify and address inventory risks and support cycle count and data accuracy in ERP/MRP.
