Job summary

Panasonic Energy, a leading battery manufacturer, is seeking a Production Manager - Planning PMO to lead SQCDP performance across PECNA Operations. You will set clear expectations, remove barriers, and drive end-to-end value-stream accountability with upstream and downstream collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong planning and PMO capabilities, and a focus on safety and quality. Travel is minimal; on-site work in Sparks, NV with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or related technical field).
• 5+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing issue/action systems with cross-functional follow-up.
• PM certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience supporting high-volume operations with plan changes and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production planning with Supply Chain to translate ERP plans into an executable shop-floor plan across operations departments.
• Ensure plans are visible, understood, and executable; manage plan changes and performance reporting discipline.
• Facilitate escalation of cross-functional constraints and drive follow‑up until closure.
• Provide embedded PMO support to accelerate delivery of operational priorities (constraint removal, readiness, stability).
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision needs; ensure governance triggers are used when schedules slip.
• Develop planners and coordinators on data discipline, communication, and project execution fundamentals.
• Partner with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality to align readiness, SOP updates, and handover requirements.
• Ensure upstream/downstream communication of constraints to protect inventory/WIP and delivery.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and change tracking for projects impacting SOPs and process controls.
• Lead planners/PMO coordinators and own issue governance system; maintain centralized repository.
• Minimal travel as required for business needs.
