Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading maker of forklifts and material handling solutions, seeks a Senior Production Planner Scheduler to align material supply with production needs. The role emphasizes inventory control, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration to meet customer orders.

The position requires experience in ERP/MRP environments, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to drive lean improvements and standard work across manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Associate degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management required.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and inventory control activities, coordinating efforts and ensuring timely material supply to support production and customer orders.
• Oversee workflow scheduling by analyzing reports, adjusting production plans, and collaborating with supervisors to resolve capacity issues.
• Perform capacity planning by running machine load reports and reviewing capacities with production teams; recommend subcontracting when necessary.
• Manage shortage issues by monitoring overdue parts and ensuring timely material delivery with purchasing and production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and project management initiatives by leading cross-functional projects and promoting lean principles.
