Job summary

Software Placement Group in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a Production Planning & Materials Supervisor to translate demand into an executable production plan and ensure the steady flow of materials. This role serves as a critical link between Sales, Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Quality, keeping priorities clear and the ERP system accurate.

You will coordinate scheduling across extrusion, drying/baking, and packing operations, maintain BOMs/Routing and lead times in ERP,

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining production plans and schedules.
• Experience creating, releasing, and closing production work orders in ERP.
• Knowledge of BOM, routing, and lead-time management.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and lot/batch traceability.
• Experience coordinating warehouse and material flow to support production.
• Ability to communicate across Sales, Customer Service, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Quality.
• Experience supervising warehouse or material-handling personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the production plan based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate scheduling across extrusion, drying/baking, and packing operations.
• Adjust the plan based on performance, downtime, and material availability.
• Monitor execution against plan and escalate capacity constraints.
• Supervise creation, release, and closure of production work orders.
• Ensure BOMs, routings, and lead times are accurate.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and strong lot/batch traceability.
• Lead cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to resolve shortages.
