Job summary

Boyd Thermal Solutions Inc. in Woburn, MA is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer delivery needs while maximizing manufacturing efficiency.

You will coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to align materials, labor, and equipment with production goals, monitor capacity and inventory, and adjust plans for shortages or downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is required or preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multiple departments.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials and components are available.
• Monitor work orders and adjust schedules for shortages, downtime, or changes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to balance workloads and improve resource utilization.
• Support S&OP and production planning meetings and KPI reporting.
• Generate planning reports and ensure ERP/MRP data accuracy and compliance.
