Abbott Laboratories in Menlo Park is seeking a Production Planner to develop, maintain and communicate manufacturing build and logistics plans for assigned products. You will work across operations, engineering, quality and distribution to resolve issues and achieve product availability and line fill rate goals.

Responsibilities include S&OP-driven planning, supplier coordination, and data-driven optimization of finished goods, subassemblies and safety stock.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field or Associates' degree with equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing schedule planning.
• Intermediate experience utilizing MRP and ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office, strong Excel skills.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to communicate at multiple levels.

Responsabilidades

• Address short term availability or inventory issues in monthly S&OP and daily exception management.
• Collaborate with Supply and Distribution partners to resolve issues.
• Generate reports and perform data analysis to revise plans.
• Develop and provide detailed plan for finished goods and subassemblies for top level build plans.
• Identify slow moving stock and initiate actions to remove it.
• Review forecast data and back orders to prioritize and expedite manufacturing jobs.
• Update material master data regularly for accuracy.
• Manage safety stock levels.
