Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Production Planner in Hampton, NH to coordinate and optimize production schedules for multiple product lines. You will work with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure timely shipping and efficient shop-floor operations.

The role requires a degree in materials management or related field, 2–5 years of experience, and strong Excel/MS Office skills. AX experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in materials management or related field is required or preferred.
• Two to five years related experience in production planning or manufacturing.
• Microsoft AX experience is a plus; strong Excel and MS Office skills are essential.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling workflow for the production plant according to routing sequences and lead times.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to align shipping schedules.
• Coordinate with shop floor and MFG Engineer to improve efficiency and meet schedules.
• Release material, orders and transfers; manage throughputs to meet inventory and cost objectives.
• Work with MRP and capacity planning; monitor production status and communicate updates.
• Assist operations manager with labor reporting and shop floor duties.
