Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning or supply planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations and Customer Service teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules and planning parameters within the ERP system.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month master production plan.
• Lead inventory and operations planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activities.
• Align production plans with demand forecasts and changing customer requirements.
• Coordinate new product and material introductions into production schedules.
• Analyze production requirements, plant capacity, labor needs, and resource utilization.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, capacity, and delivery challenges; implement recovery plans as needed.
• Partner with Procurement and Materials teams to ensure material availability aligns with production plans.
• Track and report key planning KPIs, including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, inventory levels, and production performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis on production variances and recommend process improvements.
• Monitor inventory to support customer demand and fulfillment requirements.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory activities with Accounting and external auditors.
• Prepare long-term capacity plans to support future business growth.
